The new VAs for Fox, Falco, Pit, and Sonic sound really bad. Heck, Sonic's new dialogue is stupid and retarded; for example his Final Smash was changed from "Now I'll show you!" to "Super Sonic Style!" and one his taunts was from "You're too slow!" to "Sonic Speed!" Personally I like the Brawl VAs better.
At least the changes for Final Smashes were well put. Luigi's Negative Zone literally did nothing, and Pit's Palutena Army, Kirby's Chef, and King Dedede's Waddle Dee Army were all really terrible and didn't have enough firepower. Their new final smashes are so much better.
Though I think it's stupid how a few of them still have duplicates. Link's and Toon's Triforce Slash are still the same, as are Zelda's, Shiek's and even Dark Pit's Light Arrow/Staff.
So exactly how are the new characters?

toon link and adult link are exact same in every way
except toon link moves about 5% faster

All clones have different niches, a lot of their moves and attacks act differently.

YES, AND IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY.
And although I still suck at Smash, I managed to actually learn the controls now, and somehow beat a few people. Had a really hilarious match with a friend who was playing as a customized Charizard. Kept launching herself off-screen. Almost wishing I had a capture card just for that.

The new Sheik is amazing, I've just been dominating online with her after about an hour of practice, played about 100 online matches with her so far. I'm so glad she isn't low-tier garbage like she was in Brawl and Project M. Yessssssss.

What did Sheik have to do with Project M?

I'm really enjoying the Rosalina and Luma, and her moveset is unique too.
She may be in one of the highest tiers out in whole roster if players knew how to use her well.

My opinion and the general opinions of the smashboard community and competitive smash scene usually have these 5 floating at the top of the tierlist that's still being developed.
Rosalina, Palutena, Greninja, Zerosuit samus and Little mac are probably the strongest characters in smash4, rosalina and palutena are basically second to none with zone control, greninja and zss can combo the living christ out of you and make you their bitch non stop. A good little mac who doesn't do stupid things and knows how to play to his strengths is undeniably the best character on the ground.
As for the best character in the game, if we follow what the japanese are doing, that would be greninja since he's easily the most popular at the highest levels of play already.
This game is actually fairly well balanced so far though, there are very few characters I'd call flat out useless, and not really 1-2 god tier characters that no one can compete with, but in return they've nerfed a lot of the old powerhouses like marth, which makes me sad.
I've mained marth since ssbm, the nerfs they gave marth from ssbm to now are so crippling, you can't even fair fair anymore, littleown kens combo or fair nair grab juggle like you used to. He's really not in the best spot right now, from like tier 1 in both ssbm and ssbb to my guess is he is thrown all the way down to tier 2-3 in smash 4.
Ahwell, the bitchings and ranting of someone who got their mains nuts cut off, nothing new.
