If it was released on Wii U first no one would buy for 3DS, this way people who can't wait (like myself) get it.
That's the same reason companies buy first releases, doesn't mean I have to like it. I'm waiting for the Wii U release, sloppy seconds.

Just got my copy at Nintendo World and a "Settle it in Smash" towel.
WHERE ARE THEM PICTURES?!
Anyway I don't plan to get the actual game because I don't have a N3DS nor a Wii U. If it was compatible with a regular Wii, then maybe, but...
I guess I'll have to wait for people to bring the wii u version to my school's lounge.
Wasn't much to take a picture of lol.
Just people waiting on line for the most part, the event itself was just buying the game early.
I can get a pic of the towel when I'm not immobile in bed if you want though o.O

^That's about half the line judging by the fact that there's still light out
yew went to nintendo worlds and dint take any pictures of the displays or size of store or anythign cool like the surrounding area ??? or size of the line ??
Wasn't the 3DS version also released earlier because the previous set date was the same release date as Pokémon ORAS? People who would choose only one game were going to be more likely to pick Pokémon in that case, too.
