Game Difficulty

  Dislike playing stuff on Easy, so I tend to choose Normal first to get a hang and to not have everything piss easy. After that, I work my way up to the hardest one.

  Games cater to casuals way too much nowadays. Remember "Nintendo Hard"? Yeah, that doesn't apply anymore since Nintendo games are for little kids now. Have any of you even beat Super Mario Bros? You remember playing it, but I doubt many of you have ever actually beaten it.
  
  I get so bored when games beat themselves for me. I understand games were meant to be beaten, but I want to feel like I did it through my own efforts, not because the game handed it over.

  Hardest. ALWAYS hardest difficulty. Then when you go for a second play through, the even harder difficulty that just got unlocked.
  
  Nowadays the only games I get a true challenge out of anymore are unforgiving type games like Shin Megami Tensei and other old games.

  Been a long time since i played that.
  
  But i remember when i was like... 7-8. and "cheating" my way through the star world in SMW.
  That was fun, and a bit hard (when i was young) and when i play through it now, all those games are effortless breezes.
