I actually colored something....hrrrng.

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. Granted, it's 2-D shading and not really what I usually do but it's something I've been wanting to try.

Sai to Photoshop does some funny things with colors, but I don't think it actually did anything weird this time. xD How far I've zoomed into something when showing someone can also affect the way the color is seen, though, because you don't get all of the surrounding colors. Then there's another possibility. Did I show you before or after I added the gold buttons?

I need to draw something else before I can even think about that. XD

Actually, a good example might be my avi/signature as they are right now.
My icon looks like it's a bit more red/orange than the signature, but if you actually bring them into photoshop and eyedrop the colors they're still exactly the same. Just that I've zoomed in so you can only see part of her face, and they're both surrounded by different colors. My sig has mostly that really light green around it, whereas the icon has more red near it.
