  I have a very low threshold for idiocy and such, and its taken a lot to stand it up to this point.

  Fal and Osay aren't on as much anymore, and the only 2 really active Super Mods are Arsik and Moppy. At least they're taking some action now for the users that don't know/can't control how to keep/keeping things in the Spam Zone in the Spam Zone.

  Osay needs to take more of a hand in running this site (As in moderation), even if he doesn't have much time. You can't have just one administrator running the moderation part of a site, its just to much work, especially with the age group and genre of this site.
  
  Arsik and Moppy are the only ones I've seen do actually any work, and I respect that. However, they need to actually close or deal with issues before they become a problem, as thats what moderators are for.
  
  Spam sections are all well and good, but they should have some rules, and they SHOULD be moderated, much more than they currently are.

  It's worked in Mabiguru before, because people weren't so crazy or active/behave like they are now(I could name a few people but I can't.). The Spam Zone was quite dead there, so it was never really a problem.

  Site ran that way never do well. They'll keep some of the old members, but they'll drive off newer members.
  
  Also, you just pointed out the exact reason why things should be different from Guru; this site is more active, to the point that if there isn't stricter moderation, problems will come up when they're to late to deal with, which will end up making them worse than they had to have been.

  You be no help to the whole "degrading" of nation. Just so ya know :P And this whole flame war you feel like starting sometime wouldn't help either. So lets just look at who to blame.

  Its not about degrading nation, its about people now trying to act like they weren't apart of breaking this rule.
  
  And I was never going to start a flamewar, I said if things kept going the way they were, I'd just post how I truly feel about most of the people on this site, and I wasn't the only one thinking of doing this, as its gotten to the point people are fed up and looking for alternatives.
  
  No, you're not innocent. Nor am I, as I already stated. The fact is that people are pushing things trying to get away with everything they can, and acting like little morons, which does nothing but make this site look bad.
  
  Osay is the site owner, and does all the customization. That doesn't mean he can't moderate a little. I've ran plenty of sites, most of which are much larger or way more active, and the owner putting effort into running the site is needed for any site to be successful, otherwise they'll fail.

  1) He made the site after guru died
  2) He made a Vindictus sub-section
  3) Fixes any errors
  4) Implemented a shop
  etc etc. Plus he has a job, and a life to attend to. He does a good job. Look at www.mabinogiplayer.com thats been happening for months cause the guy who ran the site was "too busy irl" to even bother checking it/pay for updates. Members were left to themselves for about a year.... took weeks of PM'ing and trying to get a hold of em to have a Super Moderator implemented (Admin.... but can't edit site), to have him select more mods.
  
  And once Vindictus is live I'm sure there will be more moderation due to more people talking in that section. Anyway I don't disagree with the lack of moderation, most if not half the moderators are never, and I mean NEVER around. That or they super lurk and never post. Some only a mod for being buddy-buddy with Fal (irl or on here) :I

  The fact that you haven't seen the others working is a testament to the speed with which most issues get resolved. While I appreciate your concern, you must realize you're not getting the full picture. I can only speak for the sections that I moderate and frequent, but I think that issues are generally taken care of very quickly.
  
  That's not to say that nothing needs to change. This thread is the beginning of those necessary changes.

  I've also seen you doing work, as well as a few others.
  
  My posts are all directed at the posts which shouldn't have been left unattended until they became a larger problem. Immaturity will breed more immaturity, and all you get in the end is an issue which could have been easily avoided with a small warning, or by locking the thread it before it became a larger issue.
  
  And while I know there are things moderators do behind the scenes, theres enough left that hasn't been done that just makes you wonder what many of the mods have been doing. It also doesn't help that there are mods that have been involved in the issues, or post and leave the issue as it is, without any action.

  Rest assured that we're taking steps to remedy that. Shortly before the exodus from guru we started a campaign to unify our responses to situations. Since moving over we've had more pressing tasks to attend to but we are well aware that we need to tighten up in that area and are working on it.
  
  Nevertheless I can understand your frustration since we haven't moved on that as quickly as would have been ideal. With these recent events it's taken on a renewed priority though.

  Now with the issue at hand, I think you guys should take into consideration the age range of most of the forum members. They're what? Mostly teenagers? I don't mean to generalize and decry all teenagers, but it seems that most kids in that age range enjoy lewd and risque humor, and they seem devote attention to all things lurid. Since it's people of this age range that you're dealing with, you're going to be hard pressed to to tell them to stop enjoying the occasional sex joke and not to pay attention to that one gruesome video. Draw some lines to separate what's acceptable and not acceptable among the usual rabble of posts, and make them a bit clearer than the ones you drew in that first post.
