Laptop's not starting up.

They're designed for lap use.

Well, mine is, anyways.

Just keep air distance between laptop and whatever it sits on.

OR, alternatively, you could get a cooling mat. I don't know how much those cost over there in the states, but around here, it's about 40 bucks for one.
