A few weeks ago, I have broke 2 of my laptop keys (z and the home buttons) and now I need to repair them. My mom is going somewhere tomorrow, so she recommended I repair my laptop tomorrow. So.. any suggestions on WHERE I should go repair? HOW much it will take to repair these 2 keyboard pieces, and HOW long will it take (what will happen when I ask for them to repair it)
Please help. I'm just a lost soul that needs help like the rest of us do.

I would repair the keys myself, after ordering the keys off ebay for a few dollars, especially for an old model. keys are one of the easiest components to repair, unless you spilled something on it.
if you don't want to repair it yourself then use google maps to find a local repair shop or ask your laptop retailer for advice
based on how much it costs to repair it myself (around $7 dollars for the keys), it probably costs 20~30 dollars to repair both keys.

To repair yourself.. 20 to 30 by Best Buy Geek Squad?
if it's okay like that, then i'll probably go to Best Buy tomorrow because i'm really pissed to do it.
Will they clean it if I don't do it?

Mine's been needing a keyboard repair for over a year, but I'm in constant need of my lap-top, so I just got an external keyboard for it instead. I have fun with that keyboard, and actually prefer it to the lap top's keyboard, but as it is now, the lap top isn't actually portable. =w=
I should really do this too..

My hamster pulls off my Q key all the time when I let him scurry along the desk. :c I always just pop it back in though, lol.

buying new keys is cheaper than taking it to be fixed
