Its not "misery", its aggravation, and thats why its funny.
Seems kinda childish to me to aggravate people for fun.
Just how i grew up.
Feeding on misery and aggravation isn't the way to go.

It's dangerous to care about what other people think on the internet. It leads to addiction and emotional trauma, especially when half the internet has mental health problems. When one starts not caring, one will find it funny that others' get emotionally aroused over just a game (every meaning of it). It's one thing if you know the person in real life, but over some stranger? No. Though that's also a fallacy, because not caring about others' feelings is also a mental health problem.
PvP in MMORPGs are rarely balanced. I can't even think of one that is balanced.
WoW was balanced, at least when I played it. Of course, you had to be similar levels and similar equipment tiers, but each class had a pretty fair shot against any other class.
IMO, Mabi PvP is only imbalanced because they don't even care to try balancing it. WoW updates are constantly rebalancing each class. Mabi doesn't seem to balance any skills unless they're completely broken or useless - ie Blaze, Spark, Javalins.
For example, the CTF event was pretty balanced (until everybody was stupid and stacked teams to 30 vs 10). Respawning with at least some stat recovery and greatly reducing damage (~10%) would eliminate camping. The only skill that would still be spammable would be Ice Spear, which is extremely mana intensive and can be greatly reduced by elemental gear.
It doesn't solve everything, but it would still be way more fair than the way it is now.
